2025 SCHOOL CAMPAIGN
Halo, naes fo lukem yui/ Hello and welcome! We are thrilled to share with you our AMS School Campaign for 2025. This year, the focus of the fundraising campaign will be on St Joseph’s College Tenaru in Solomon Islands, established in the late 1940’s by Marist Brothers. Today, St Joseph’s continues its legacy as one of Solomon Islands’ top academic preforming schools. However, due to student overcrowding and run-down facilities, the school is in major need of renovations and refurbishments. With your school’s help, let us help build a safe and conducive learning environment for young Solomon Islanders.
In this kit, you will find resources designed by our team in collaboration with Marist educators. It includes Sacred Spaces, Country Background, Learning Activities and Fundraising Ideas. Alongside the kit are a poster and some example blurbs to use in various publications and communications. There is also a “Student Ambassadors Campaign” Kit for our 2025 AMS leaders. ENJOY!
CAMPAIGN RESOURCES
AMS Student Ambassadors are representatives for solidarity in their school community. Ambassadors inform peers about AMS’ work and take the lead in organising fundraising activities. They help to raise funds and awareness for the incredible programs AMS supports.
There are many benefits to participating in this program, including meeting and working with other Marist school students, gaining new skills in event planning, fundraising and the charity sector, growing leadership skills, and most importantly, helping vulnerable young people to achieve their education dreams.

School Ambassadors
Each year, Marist schools across Australia coordinate a variety of activities to fundraise for AMS. Without their valuable contributions, we wouldn’t be able to provide the support and assistance required to conduct vital work in communities throughout the Asia Pacific region. So, in recognition of this important fundraising, AMS awards each school with a certificate noting their fundraising total for the year. We additionally award two trophies, one for the Highest Fundraising School and the other for Marist Spirit.
